a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt entity. Donors can deduct contributions they make to it as well as tax deductible bequests, devises, transfer or gifts. ASASA International is further classified by IRS as a public charity and exempt from sales tax by the State of Texas.
LOW INCOME SCHOLARSHIP
The time has come to lend a helping hand to high school graduates from low income families as defined by the U.S. Department of Education that are residents of Austin and San Antonio, Texas and are college or university bound.

MISSION STATEMENT
ASASA International exists to provide scholarship and educational services to low income students that are college or university bound; to provide relief for the under privileged, alleviate poverty, ignorance, hunger; disease and other ills; and to make donations to community based organizations whose missions are compatible to that of ASASA International or in furtherance of it.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ASASA International and its sub-division- ASASA International Educational, scholarship and Award Programs are governed by a multi-racial Board of Directors serving a four-year term of office. The composition of the Board consists of college/university professors, businesspersons, retired high school principals, retired U.S. military officer, University Security Officer, and other.
